Hello, why does the timing synchronization change from 1.2 on a cold engine to 0.4 on a warm 90 C? Is the timing correctly installed? 1.6 tdi cayc engine ....
At first thanks for the great tutorial 👍👍👍 But i have a question: 8:28 you see the tongue left to the groove and right is free. Why is he aligning it to the center at 18:30 with the clip?? Sry for my asking i am now on the same situation that's why i am asking. I mounted it in the same way to the left side as it was before i pulled it out. Can someone help me with my question?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to specify the tightening torque, this information can be found in the technical documentation for the repair of your car. AUTODOC

Thanks so much for posting such a well made step by step video. Much appreciated!
We are glad that this video was useful to you!
Perfect! One of the most descriptive videos I’ve seen, even with torque spec’s.
Keep it up!

What engine is this? Obviously not the 1.6.
You forgot the replace one of the pulleys btw.
The car used in this video is PEUGEOT 307 1 (3H) 2.0 Estate 2002-2009.
great autodoc team
Just an excellent and informative video. The music mildly annoying and a bit too loud.
Why don’t you turn it down? 😂
Torquing the 7mm water pump retainer bolts to 28 Nm is surely going to end in tears. Perhaps 18 Nm?
They're M6 bolts and the right torque is 16 Nm
At first thanks for the great tutorial 👍👍👍

Water pump bolts 16 NM.
In Autodata and service manual there is 21Nm on tensioner bolt.

No wonder why it is so expensive to replace. Definitely not a job for the DIYer. Great video!
Thank you for sharing your opinion with us.
Why not you can watch the video and work on your car at same time
if it is damaged (belt damaged when car move under 60 - 70km/h ) will it have an effect on the engine?
Yes, it will. We strongly recommend replacing the timing belt as soon as the slightest cracks appear on it.
AUTODOC
Is it necessary to mark the belt or not?
It is unnecessary to mark the belt.
In this work, the most important thing is to mark the crankshaft gear and camshaft gears.
AUTODOC
Bottom crank, sprocket ,key way play, how would you, stop it moving.??
It has to move in order to help to adjust the belt.
That is how they do it in Africa EXCEPT the Engine would be removed, for some strange reason..! 🤔🤔😇😇👍👍
No size for timing belt pins
i don't like silent films,,,
